NMR spectrometers are designed to measure the position of the absorption line of the NMR signal and to construct the NMR spectrum of liquid samples. The principle of operation of NMR spectrometers is based on the resonant absorption of electromagnetic energy by matter due to the reorientation of the magnetic moments of atomic nuclei. The test sample is placed in a permanent magnetic field and affected by a sequence of radio frequency pulses of an electromagnetic field, the parameters of which ensure the appearance of a free induction NMR signal (SI). According to the data obtained, the dependence of the CSI on time is built. Then, using the Fourier transform (or other similar transformation) of the obtained dependence, the NMR spectrum of the sample under study is obtained.
